Embrace your inner bartender

Home is where the heart is – became such an overused cliché because it’s true: everyone needs a place to feel safe, relaxed and happy. With the colder season upon us, we are happy to spice up your stay-at-home evenings with seven easy cocktails that will blow your gin lovin’ mind.

1. The Rebellious Pornstar Martini

Few cocktails say ‘sexy’ like the Pornstar Martini does. This fun and evocative drink has a habit of making your evenings at home feel like you’re out and about, living it up, partying like it’s 1999 – or maybe 2003, who knows?

2. The Espresso Martini 2.0

A modern classic that is usually made with vodka. Looks great, tastes even better. All you need is fresh pressed espresso, frangelico, vanilla syrup and Sir Edmond Gin. Garnish with three coffee beans for the finishing touch.

3. The Flamingo Club

A twist on the Clover Club, a pre-Prohibition era classic that originated in a gentleman’s club in Philadelphia at the end of the 19th century. The Sir Edmond version is best enjoyed with simple syrup and fresh raspberries or raspberry syrup.

4. The Rebel Mule

The Moscow Mule is yet another classic that is usually made with vodka. Our Rebel Mule — gin, ginger beer, lime juice and a few drops of Angostura bitters — likes to be served in a copper mug, with a lime wedge and mint sprig peeking over the edge.

5. The Fresh Berry

This one is for gin lovers with a sweet tooth. The Fresh Berry looks best in a highball glass filled with ice. Be sure to save some space for raspberry syrup. Garnish with a raspberry and playfully curled lemon peel.

6. The Gin Fizz

The easiest of all stay-at-home cocktails. All you need is Sir Edmond Gin and soda water. Our preferred garnish is a lemon peel, but you might as well try the Gin Fizz with ginger, strawberry, cucumber or mint — whatever mood you are in.

7. The French Rebel

The French Rebel is our take on the French 75: an irresistible combination of gin, champagne, lemon juice and simple syrup. Served in a champagne flute, this cocktail is the perfect companion when there is cause for celebration. Yes, movie nights on your couch count too.
