Continuing our gin journey on the ABC islands

After announcing the upcoming arrival of Sir Edmond Gin on Aruba, we couldn’t wait to hop over to its neighbouring islands Curaçao and Bonaire.

Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao are part of the so-called Leeward Antilles, a chain of islands off the coast of Venezuela. These places are heaven for sun lovers: in the coolest month, January, the temperature still averages above 25 °C. It’s a miracle Sir Edmond Gin didn’t make its way to this part of the world sooner, because our Bourbon vanilla infused gin loves tropical conditions.

Our partnership with the sales and distribution specialists of GinBuilders has brought our beloved brand to the Caribbean. GinBuilders co-founder Ron de la Fuente Saez is very happy to announce that Sir Edmond Gin is now available in Curaçao and Bonaire. “We for sure will surprise consumers with the unique Bourbon vanilla flavour profile of Sir Edmond Gin,” he says.

United Distributors Curaçao, which directly supplies Best Brands Bonaire, is a leading beverage importer and wholesale distributor on the island. They are proud to add Sir Edmond Gin to their range of products, says UDC’s Fabian Cleopa. “I previously worked as a mixologist and still consider myself to be one. Most mixologists dream to create their own spirit at a certain point. As such, whenever I see a mixologist create something it gets me excited, especially when it is something of this quality. We feel proud to bring Sir Edmond gin to Curaçao and Bonaire and help grow the product.”

“It’s great that our gin can now be enjoyed on Curaçao and Bonaire as well, after we had already set foot on Aruba,” Dominique Makatita, co-founder of Sir Edmond Gin, adds. “We are passionate about forming new friendships with experienced partners like United Distributors Curaçao. The future is bright and tastes like Bourbon vanilla!”

Sir Edmond Gin will be available on Curaçao and Bonaire as of mid November 2020.
