The GinBuilders founders are extremely excited about the partnership; “Sir Edmond Gin has experienced a remarkable success since their launch in 2016. We are thrilled to build on this success in the Americas. The Sir Edmond brand credentials combined with a unique story, a versatile liquid profile and outstanding packaging has it all to conquer the Americas with our support. Sir Edmond Gin is something special and that is exactly what the market is looking for.”
Dominique Makatita and TJ van der Drift, owners of Sir Edmond Gin, consolidate: “We have a great partner in this ambitious and driven company and we look forward to working with these industry veterans in order to accelerate our overseas distribution. GinBuilders’ extensive network will play an instrumental role in our success overseas. Together we have an ambitious plan to build Sir Edmond Gin into one of the world’s most loved gin brands.”
Sir Edmond Gin originates from the founders’ need for a gin that was both unique and versatile. They took inspiration from the way Michelin star chefs used Bourbon vanilla from the islands of Madagascar and Réunion to create culinary magic. Because of its popularity and limited availability, Bourbon vanilla is the second most expensive spice in the world, after saffron, and more valuable than silver by weight.
