A flamingo doesn't stay in one place for long. Neither do I. I've been making myself at home across Asia for a few years now - and there's a new place to add to the list: Hong Kong.
It's a fitting one. Few cities carry a cocktail culture quite like this one: a skyline dotted with speakeasies, five-star hotel bars that take their craft, and a crow of spirits lovers who know exactly what they're looking for. If there's a place where a Bourbon Vanilla-infused gin can spread its wings, it's here.
A city built fopr good taste
Hong Kong has spent decades earning its place among the world's premium spirits hub. Fine dining, an ambitious on-trade scene, and a drinking culture that rewards anything unusual - it's the kind of place that doesn't just welcome a rebellious spirit, it asks for one. I'm in good company here, and I intented to make the most of it.
Where to find me
Over the coming months, I'll be settling into Hong Kong's premium cocktail bars, five-star hotels, and a handful of independent retailers - the place where Bourbon Vanilla can really do its thing behind the bar. Local partners are helping me find my footing in the city, bringing me to the bars and bottle shops where I belong.
If you happen to spot me on a Hong Kong backbar, say hello - and let me know how the vanilla is treating you.
